Large compinies like Hunter arms & other's "dabbled" out of their relm in side ventures. The Lionel train company made a large range of fishing rods & reels that were very good in the day and now are sought after. They were sold under "Airdex" or "Airex" I have several of the reels and it does say the Lionel company. I've read where the salesman when bored would try to cast a casting plug into the moving model train cars in the show rooms...........those were the days
