Could anyone help me with identifying the stamped markings on the underside of my barrels, underneath the forend? I have a OO grade 12 gauge LC Smith manufactured on August 31, 1912. Each barrel reads C 4 4 ARMOR STEEL W&R. The 4's are stacked above each other and the W&R is stamped over the ARMOR STEEL stamping.
