I made an interesting find recently of a rather unique L C Smith Crown Grade. This particular Crown Grade was built in 1923 for the then Owner & President of The Hunter Arms Co., Mr. Gifford K. Simonds. This 12 ga Crown Grade has 26" barrels choked improved cylinder & improved modified, it has a Hunter One Trigger,Auto Ejectors,Double Ivory Beads, pistol Grip Stock,Splinter For End, And G K Simonds in long hand inlaid in 24K Gold across the Trigger Guard Bow. The Gun is in need of some TLC and will soon be on it's way to Vicknair Restorations for Dewey to work some of his "Magic" on it. I will post some Before and after photos once it is completed.
