Bob and I have shot a lot of sst on smith guns without any problems for years. Here comes the but;The piegon grade was doubling quite offton ,3 trips to the gunsmith and no more problems .The problems were people messing with the trigers ,trying to adjust the trigger pull ,not installing them back in properly ,my falt not pushing the selector all the way made a mess making the rod or spring jam between the sheers . These GUNS are old and the wood probl y shrenks a little so dont over tighton the back sideplate screw it will bow ,causing a gun to double ,this has been the case on two of my guns ,a little glass bed on the back wood and no more problems .SO if it works dont mess with it.P.S. Had a great time at the fall southern.
