    Wayne -

The worth issue isn't a subject we cover here. Too many variables involved and this forum just isn't about monetary value anyway. Other sites will give ballpark values, but only a hands-on examination by several knowledgeable people will result in a fair estimate. And even after that the true value will only be known at the moment your gun changes hands.

    Who will purchase your Elcee?

First I'll warn you that admin might well look upon your question as an offer to sell. This is another subject we don't discuss here as this forum is about appreciation and history, not about values and retailing.

In the event that admin allows this post to slide, then the simple answer to your question is that the first person satisfying your personal minimum will become the new owner.

More to the point there are sites such as Gunbroker or Antiqueguns offering their services for a fee. I will say no more because it would be a conflict of interest here and at another site for me to do so.

Should you think this unfair, look at it from my perspective... Your question offers the perfect opportunity to lowball a gun with the intention of obtaining it at a reduced price.

Believe it or not there are still those with personal integrity. You happen to have fallen in with a whole bunch of this type and we have certain standards. I'd say that this is your lucky day because not everyone subscribes to such.

Should you and I have met on the floor of a gun show, I might well have made you an offer. You would have had the opportunity to look around and consult others as to the potential value of your gun. The decision to sell (or not) would be entirely up to you, but would be based on some fairly solid information.

While there those of us always looking for a steal, there are others of us seeking good value at a fair price. I hope you encounter the latter instead of the former.

    My Best,

    B.
