I have come across a L.C. Smith Baker three barrel gun and am trying to find out a little more about it. I have found some good information on this site so thanks already.
There are very few markings. I believe it is a Quality 1 (no engraving or pistol grip). Stub Twist and 528 (probably serial no.) are also engraved on the gun.
A 12 ga. shell fits good so I assume it is not a 10 ga. No markings as to the caliber of the rifle barrel but looks to be about a 44.
The hammers seem to work fine but I can't figure out how to fire the rifle chamber. It may have a broken hammer spring. Does one of the shotgun triggers fire the rifle?
It is in fair condition (some minor pitting). What price range should I offer for this gun?
