Hi David, I know that this L.C. Smith is not a Speciality grade model, because of the mixed serial #'s. The serial# on the receiver is 6333 E, and the barrel is 6065 with a 2 underneath that number and the forend is 216697E. The forend has engraved metal where it mounts and an engraved plate around the lock. It also has a black V at the tip of the forend. There is just alittle engraving around the trigger guard and a ring around both sides of the receiver, and alittle underneath. I know this has to be a "lunch box special", but wondered what it might be worth if I decide to sell it. I own and use all O/U shotguns, so I would have to get used to a S/S instead!
