Today I took this old Baker to the local skeet range.
Since purchasing this 10 gauge recently from Cabela's in St. Louis, I bought a set of GAUGE-MATE adapters to allow me to shoot 12 gauge reloads in the 10 gauge stub-twist barrels. I shot a very mild low-pressure 12 gauge reload using #7625 powder with 7-1/2 shot.
The chokes both measure extra full, so I wasn't sure what to expect, and haven't had a chance to pattern test it.
I ended up shooting a 17/25, which was better than I expected. It was great fun using this heavy "centarian."
