Hey all, I recently had Jim do a research letter on an A-1, #948. Surprisingly, it came back as two guns. In other words, two DIFFERENT A-1's, but having the same serial number. Maybe an "in a hurry Friday" gun and a "Monday morning hangover" gun??? The question of the day is: does anyone out there have the other A-1 #948? When I get a chance I'm going to check with Cody and see if they have records concerning anyone else getting a letter from them for #948. If they have such a request in their files I'll see if they think it would be reasonable for THEM to contact the owner. I think it would be interesting to get these two guns together again.
