Thanks fellows- I got it removed and saved the bushing0waiting for a new firing pin from Bob's in Front Royal AK-welding a hex nut-with the stuck bushing still in place on the receiver face, is that safe? Buck has a first rate reputation, so if he can do it, OK- I added more kroil-and let it set upright in a padded vise overnight-and reground a Grace gunsmith turnscrew just as the ils. showed- a little "Polack forearm torque" did the trick-and I refiled and dressed off the slotted face- now as for the brass screws, if I find any, sure-but Proppert's in PA- same place that sells L.C. Smith fp bushings-they might have them- now, did the later Marlin Smiths also have bushed firing pins?
