Hey this is the second set of pictures, this is of my by Ser# 1929 Specialty Grade 12ga on a regular frame marked S at the end of the Ser# meaning Specialty? It has good wood very nice clean barrels almost all bluing remains has a single brass bead at the muzzle. Barrels are 32" long. I'm inclined to trade it off on day for another 12ga with 28" barrels. Any interest? The chokes seems to be pretty tight one a bit larger then the other. Third time up, first time at the range, I managed my ever best 24/25 starting at the first position. The ejectors look as thought he pins have been hitting them there is wear on the top and bottom side. Is this normal or have they been relieved so that they don't touch. The pins look fine, center primer with nice full hits. The case color is all put gone but if you look you see its was once there. The underside of the barrels there is a proof mark that's double stamped and the stamps for the type of steel in the barrels is missing a bunch of letters on one side and is faint on the other requiring a magnifying glass to see. Not much else. Hope you enjoy these pics and comment if you like I'm pretty new show just trying to learn and share. One more thing the barrel rib just a few inches from the breach looks to have a seem Zig Zag design that's not present on my other two Smith's is this something done to add to the aesthetics or did it sure a function?
