David - I believe the small screw at the front of the trigger guard is missing. Mike Harris has the gun at the moment, but is bringing it to Pintail. I gave it to his son to see if it was a quick fix. Would the missing screw on the Skeet Special cause the receiver to open after one barrel is fired. I have been shooting it for some time with the missing screw and have never had a problem. Quite frankly I don't know how long it has been missing, I just recently noticed it, several months ago. It locks up tight but the top lever even with some tension remains what appears to be too far to the right. Thanks for your wisdom - let me know if the screw could be the culprit.
