I have had this problem before also. Try holding the trigger in the forward position when assembling. Make sure the triggers move freely when the locks are off, sometimes they can get bent or buggered and you won't notice it until you are trying to get it together. Are the triggers in the right place? Meaning, if you took it completely apart you may have swapped the front/rear triggers. Good luck, Rob.
