Final results of the poll:
28 inches, full and full 16% 28 inches, modified and full, 13% 28 inches, improved cylinder and modified 21% 30 inches, full and full 5% 30 inches, modified and full 18% 30 inches, improved cylinder and modified 14% 32 inches, full and full 4% 32 inches, modified and full 5% 32 inches, improved cylinder and modified 4%
Barrel lengths of 28 and 30 apprear to be more popular than 32 inch barrels.
Chokes other than full and full may be the better choice according to the voters.
I believe that we can discount the 16% results for 28 inch barrels and full and full chokes. Rather than first going through the drop down box to make a selection, a few people wrote to tell me that they clicked on the "Vote" box thinking that they were going to see all of the choices before placing their vote. Instead, they registered a vote for the first choice on the list - the 28 inch barrels and full and full chokes. I won't use the drop down box format in future polls to eliminate this problem.
