It's hard to beat the Remington Managed-Recoil STS target loads. They are 7/8 oz. of 8 1/2 shot, and hit as hard as any 1 oz. or 1 1/8 oz. load. I shot them in making the L. C. Smith team at this year's L. C. Smith-Parker Challenge. The future of sporting clays is 7/8 oz., and even 3/4 oz. loads. Performance is proven to be just as good as the larger loads, with much less recoil and shock to your brain and your gun. Also, you can get any number of recipes to load your own 7/8 and 3/4 oz. loads for your 12 gauge.
