Ron, I live in OKC and am a Firearms specialist for a major gun dealer here contact me if you want and I can make arangments to look at gun and see just what you have and you can go from there. I curretly have a LC Smith 3E in the process of being restored. From your serial # your gun was mfg in 1927 but would have to see it to determine type and grade. cell 550-2140
