Bob, London Steel barrels first appeared in 1907 as an option on the 0 Grade, after 1913 this became the Ideal Grade, and I believe London Steel was available until the close of Hunter Arms in 1945. When Marlin took over, now the L.C. Smith Gun Co. it was made until 1950.
