    Definitely a nice gun. In order to do this work I have read that the rib should be taken off, the barrels cleaned of the old solder and flux. The bluing will have to be removed in this area for the re-tinning. The bottom rib will be soldered and then the barrels will have to be re-blued.

    Talk to someone that knows and, if like I said the barrels have to be completely re-blued that means sanding the barrels clean and leaving no scratch marks which is an hour to two hour job alone. If there is any dents, that should be addressed also. I'm guessing in the $500 range with no dents. If you do the prep work on the barrels yourself you will save a $100 or so. My guess.
