    Jim,
    In my opinion it would be on consignment in a gun shop that also has a web site. This way locals as well of thousands of web people can look also. Have it stated that the gun could be pulled if bought in the store. Make sure there are LOTS OF GOOD PICTURES, CLEAR., good description with serial number, list any cracks, dents, etc. Give barrel length, chokes (if you don't know them have the store mike them). In the case of your gun, I don't know the year, but most likely 2 9/16" chambers until end of 1930's.
    If you decide to list it on an auction site start the price low, put a reserve on it if you want. With the description and photos, the gun will sell itself. Also you should offer a 3 day inspection providing the gun comes back the way you sent it.
    If you have it on a web site with a fixed price, not as good, becasue people want to bid and sometimes it's like a buying frenzy.
    Set in your mind what you want for it because the shop could get 3% of your selling price.
