    Tom,
    Bore for a 12 ga is .729-.732. The chokes run parallel for one 1 inch and then taper for another 1 9/16". So if that gun was 28" originally, both barrels would mike up .729-.732. or cyl/cyl.
    Most guns came from the factory full/full unless ordered different.
    Your gun might have been opened by someone that did quail, woodcock or grouse hunting and wanted an open choke.
    Just check the one imp.cyl. barrel to make sure it is not swagged at the very end to give it choke.
