FWIW noticed quite a bit of barrel sideplay with field grade in open position; locked up tight when closed. The underrib had worked loose which in turn loosened the forend lug . Under rib wasrelayed and lug resoldered which eliminated the excessive barrel sideplay(inopen pos only). Keith Kearcher did an excellent repair job for the modest price of $150.00. No, I am not shilling for Keith just passing on some info that someone might find of interest.These modern day traploads can raise cain with 60 year old solderjoints !!!!
