Thanks Dr Drew. It looks like the Meacham company was in business for quite a few years. according to Cody my gun was shipped in 1894. The 1894 date does not match our (LCSCA) records here on the web site. I am going to try to take some pictures and send to you to help me post. It has a skelton butt plate and the knob on the end of the pistol grip is different than I have seen before, but the numbers under the trigger guard match the gun. The stock shows A1 925 under the trigger guard.
