Bruce, very nicely done. Here is an Ideal Grade 1927, that has been refurbished, probably because of a bad crack from one side plate over the tang and to the other side plate. Stock was removed glass-bedded, refinished and barrels were re-blued. The big question is the side plates. The engraving is still sharp when you rub your fingers across them. All details are there and crisp. Nickel plating gives the appearance of a nickel and will tarnish like one. Is this chrome plated? The inside of the locks are the dull gray look. I couldn't pass it up, very inexpensive and handles nicely. All numbers including stock match. Weighs 6 lbs. 11 ozs. with 28" barrels.
The pictures don't show it, but the side plates are shiny.
