    Chris:

You, of course, know that I am the "censor", but I follow the rules established by the Board of Directors of the L.C. Smith Collectors Association. I might be a good idea for anyone concerned to review the Forum Use Policies:

    http://www.lcsmith.org/images/originals/LCSCA%20Forum%20Use%20Policy.pdf

These policies are always available on this website in the drop-down menu under Organization.

Other than advertisements for people wanting to buy or sell guns, I rarely remove a post. Those removed clearly fit one (usually several) of the categories listed in the policy.

Honestly, I do not know what you are referring to in your message. This morning I removed three messages from "Bill" (no email address) that I deemed inflammatory. Also, I exercised my judgment to lock the string so that no additional responses could be made. I've done that before when the string gets long or the messages become negative. Is locking the responses what you are concerned about? That action is meaningless, because anyone could start another string on the subject.

I think that it is important remember that the website is our "front page" and the place where potential members may be first exposed to our organization.

Feel free to email or call me if you want to discuss this matter.
