    It should also be noted that the Ripon Cup, for the highest score in the Atkin, Grant and Lang Main event was won by Don Shumaker. Of course, he was shooting an L.C. SMITH, and beat all comers with a 73. Grant Rosser, the young man that Jent was referring to above, was High Junior and tied the Runner-Up score with a 72, losing RU by tie-breakers. Sharon McPherson also took High Lady in the Main Event.

    We will be happy to have Grant join Don, Sharon, and all the other SPORTSMEN AND WOMEN who proudly represented L.C.S.C.A. at the Southern S X S next year.

    Also note that in spite of some notable absences due to a conflict with the VA State NSCA Championships, PGCA fielded 61 shooters for the Challenge Cup. L.C.S.C.A. fielded 55 shooters, an increase of about 10% for both teams from 2007. So, if some think the "challenge" has gone out of the Challenge Cup, there are plenty of others that think we are moving in the right direction.
