I have a friend who had a terrrible accident with his elsie last fall during dove season, it is a 12 ga reg frame ideal grade, it is a shooter or was, he also shoots a 20 ga, in the heat of a fantastic shoot last fall he mistakenly dropped a 20 ga shell which was left in his vest from a previous shoot, down the left tube, thinking he had failed to load the gun he reloaded, you can imagine what happened when he fired the gun, the barrel ruptured about 3" in front of the forend and pretty much laid open for about 12", luckily no harm to him, he wants to put the gun back in shooting cond., any suggestions would be appreciated
