Darn it I need to preview these posts. I lied, they didnt ruin the gun at all, rather they created a lot of work for me! If you feel comfortable doing it, buy the ebony and start filing. There isnt much you can do wrong if you take your time and keep checking the fit. Once it fits exactly as is should, be sure to use a good adhesive, acraglass works well, any modern high tensile strength epoxy or even some wood glues work well.
