If the fore iron you have found is for a featherweight (FW) frame; then it can be fitted, but will likely require the services of a skilled gunsmith (it may require filing/shaping at the knuckle to match the contour of the 16 gauge frame). If filing/reshaping is required, the iron will also require require a new finish (either blue or case color, depending on what would be period correct).
