I set up at local gunshows selling vintage pocket watches mostly, with a few shotguns thrown in. A local minister has become a regular customer and I have sold him some nice watches and gotten to know him better each trip. I had a 410 LC there, which led to his LC story. Years ago his dentist, who knew he liked quality shotguns, called and said he had purchased 4 LC's from the family of a deceased surgeon for $400 each. Was he interested in 2 of them for what he had in them. My friend went to look at them and bought a 16ga Grade 3E, two barrel set. he reminded me that he was making $300 a month back then. Years he later connected on the 410, but it cost him $1000 by then.

I have been thinking about the grade 3E ever since. Data here suggests 320 16ga, some fraction of which were Ejectors.
But how many two bbls sets?
    What bbl steel?
Shipped as two bbl set or added later?
    What condition?

I've asked to get a peek at the 2 LC's. He was non committal, but we will see. When is that next gun show !!!
