Mickey, I took these pitures, didn't want to take up a lot of space so you really can't see or appreciate a couple of them.
    Picture 1, C.1927 12 ga. Field Grade Longrange Wildfowl, 32" full/full, re-inforced splinter, 3"chambers, Hunter One-trigger, ejectors 8 lbs. 12 ozs.
Picture 2, c.1927 20 Ga. Ideal Grade, straight factory stock, 3 position safety 28" mod/full, fully reconditioned I presume. 6 lbs. 6 ozs.
Picture 3, c.1927 12 ga FW Ideal Grade with ejectors, 3 positions safety, 28" mod/full 6 lbs. 11 ozs. A nice gun to carry all day.
    Picture 4, c. 1919 16 ga. FW Field Grade 26 1/4" imp.cyl/imp.cyl. Hunter One-trigger, ejectors
Picture 5, c.1895 Quality 2 28" chain Damascus, 3 position safety, 1st. style joint check. Unfortunatly both barrels are now cyl./cyl.
I can see now why a lot of people like the pre-13 guns. They are made nicer as far as fit and finish.
Picture 6, c. 1928 12 ga FW Ideal Grade 28" imp. cyl/mod. Miller One-trigger early style, selector on safety (like 3 position)
Big black and white prop is Max the ham, helped in getting the two other props for pictures.
Didn't want to bore everybody with other "klunkers".
It's kind of funny, before starting with L.C. Smiths the largest guage I ever hunted with was a 20 ga., and used my 28's for quite a bit of hunting for stocked birds. Now I sometimes willl use a few different 12's and the 16's. Like them all.
