My gun is a double trigger, two piece tang, four or five digit serial number (gun is not with me, but I will find out soon). Anyways, it is an old model hammerless because the trigger plate has no rectangular notch for the safety link block or trigger return spring, and the top tang is not drilled and tapped for a safety spring. That may give you an idea of how early the gun is.
