Thank you so much for the information. I will be watchful for any oxide on the gun. I have no idea when this hot blueing took place as it is a recent acquisition. I have learned so much from this forum and have an even greater appreciation the L C Smith. Thanks again to all who make this such a wonderful learning experience, Tom
