I was in NC on business and stopped by the office where the new L.C. Smith book is sold to get a copy. They let me use an office pc to post a message about the book. I own at least one or more of every American classic shot gun including the more modern model 21.To my knowledge the is not a book of this caliber written on any of the others American classic shot guns, I have the Parker, Ithaca, Lefever and Fox books and while very accurate they do not come close to matching the photographic and artistic quality of the Legend Lives. I can only hope that the future will bring us a book of this caliber on some or all of the American Classic shotguns. I have obtained the application for membership in the L.C. Smith collectors from the book staff here in NC and plan on joining.
