I recently traded for a reasonably nice, refinshed LC Smith 16 ga hammer gun. The gun came as a two barrel "set" with 24" and 30" damascus barrels. The serial number is #151546 F. and all numbers "match". The serial number roll on this site indicates a year of manufacture of 1937, but other information indicates that hammer gun production ceased in 1932 and damascus barrels were discontinued in 1919. Am I missing something here? Any input would be appreciated.
