I looked at a L.C. Smith 12 ga in a pawn shop today and I didnot have a clue as to what grade it was. I own both field and ideal grades so rule those out. The gun had engraving all the way down the barrels. The side plates were engraved as well as the rest of the receiver. There were not any dogs or birds anywhere. If I break the gun down, what should I look for?
