Jeff, You could start by referring to the Blue book of guns. Ask a local gunsmith if he has one. Ask for his opinion as well. Send me an electronic picture of it with all standard information like SS#, any other lettering, and whether the ss#'s match on all parts of the gun. Good Luck, Tom
