I know this is the longest of long shots regarding this inquiry. I have thought about making this post since I joined the association and just now decided to ask the question. I inherited my Grandfather's 16 ga Elsie when I was about 10 years old (1957). I hunted with this gun until it was stolen from our home in League City, Texas (along with our entire gun collection) in about 1962. It was a devastating loss for me. The one distingushing mark was that the stock had my Grandfather"s initials and year carved in the stock (TAK 1904). The gun had engraved side plates. I do not know what model it was. Has anyone ever seen this gun? Thanks and good hunting to all, Tom Kilgore
