Bill: that is a 'F' or lowest grade hammer gun with what sounds like Damascus barrels made in 1909. You can find examples of Smith hammer guns and Damascus on the Photo Trail on the Home Page. It is very likely replacing the stock would exceed the value of the gun unless it is in near new condition. Would it be possible for you to post ultra close up pics of the markings on bottom of the barrels? or send them by jpg attachment to revdoc2@cox.net and thanks!
