Brother Droge, Have any donations come in for the rebuilding of the proof house? The boys on this message board are generous souls and I figure they should be pouring in by now after I gave your address on your last posting.
I had word that one of my friends barns collapsed recently when he accidentally backed his Ford car into the side wall in a fit of anger after he caught his wife fooling around with the washing machine repair man. Perhaps we can scavage some materials from it on my next trip home to visit.
I will be in Southern Illinois for the Thankgiving Holiday / Opening of the Duck Season during late November and then again for a day or two passing through on my way to shoot with Mista Nash at Beaverdam in early December. I will bring them guns down that we spoke about on the long distance telephone recently.
We will do some work on the Proof House on both them trips. I have half a keg of nails that I stole from the railroad yard a few days ago that I will bring along and add to the supplies.

P.S. Please try to have my Allen duck call repaired by December as I am planning on using it to bring in the ducks down at Tunica. Mista Nash is a real fine shot but is a duck callin' poor soul.
