Bill: Thanks for your support. Some of the best reviews of my books have been written by non-Parker people who could see beyond the maker's name to the underlying information that applies to all shotguns. If you drop down a few threads, you'll see I have another in the works (my 4th), and although entitled "Parker Guns: Shooting Flying and the American Experience" (Collector Books, Paducah KY, for release Summer 2008), it's general enough to cover the LCS and Baker's contribution; both the George H. and Ansley H. Foxes; Lefevers, Colts, Wessons, Ethan Allens, Ropers, Boyd & Tylers, E. Remington-Whitmores, Whitneys, and a whole bunch more, comparing them to each other, and piecing together the machine-made hand-fit-and-finished shotgun as part of the American experience with shooting flying, while showing the origins in England, export to the New World, and how after the Civil War the American "hedge pokers" digressed from the British mode.
