My father owns an L.C. Smith field-model 12-gauge from the early seventies, and it is barrel-choked. I was wondering if it would be all right to use straight barrels so that I can choke each barrel separately. If so, are there non-tapered barrels that are meant to be used with this make, or would I just use any generic replacement barrel? I'm sorry I don't know more about the gun; I'm writing from what I remember seeing when I cleaned it last.
