Thomas, looked at same gun,came into Cabela's last Thursday I believe. A few things bothered me about it. One the stock was way too short for me even with the recoil pad on it. I believe it was a little over 13". Second even though the trigger guard was serial numbered, there is a screw hole where a longer trigger guard should have been and a darker area that looks to me like a longer guard was there. It is also the second style engraving with a flying pigeon on both sides. Circa 1904 Other than those few items looked to be in decent shape. Good luck with it.
