I recently purchased an absolutely mint Fulton Ranger which perhaps has never been fired. Here is my problem - I open the gun and cock it, insert snap caps, fire and then open again. Unless I hold the muzzle up when opening, the gun will not cock, the firing pins protrude from the breech face and I must then take the gun apart by removing the forend in order to be able to close it. I've copied off the instructions on how to disassemble the gun but that's not the problem. Guidance please.
