Had a chance to look at a Pigeon Grade Friday. Decent shape, except for the stock. Straight stock but short and had a hole where I thought a screw should have gone for a long trigger guard. The stock was 13 3/4" to the end of the hard old recoil pad. Barrels were in good shape, 30". Had the second style engraving of flying pigeons on both sides. I should go back and ask if they will remove the two wood screws and see if there is a serial number on the wood. The gun has all matching serial numbers. The gun is a circa 1904 double triggers no ejectors with the dogs head medallion on the fore end, like the 1895 Syracuse Quality 2 I have. They wanted $2100 for it, and I know there was only a little over 1200 made.
