I recently received my grandfather's SXS hammer gun. It is in poor condition (stock broken in half and rusty). The serial numbers on it are 1216512 F. Hummer Arms Co. Makers, Fulton NY is all that I can see on the barrel. LC Smith is on the plate below the left hammer. If I read info on the homepage correctly, this gun was made in 1902. Could someone confirm this? How do I confirm the barrels are "twist"? There is no obvious patterns like those shown in the photo, but there seems to be ring-like pattern. Any help would be appreciated.
