John: I asked the above question because the second style joint check was created solely for the purpose of allowing an ejector gun to have a joint check feature. As the second style joint check required more parts and machine operations to fit than the original roll-type joint check, it seems logical to me that Hunter would have avioded the use of the second type on manual extractor and hammer gun models solely from a manufacturing cost standpoint.
