Jay: The Hawkins Model 25 Recoil Pad by The Cushion Pad Co., the Jostam Sponge Rubber, and the NoShoc were all available in the early 20s. The Silvers pad was introduced in the 1880s. Several period pads are shown on the 'Wonderous Wood' Photo Trail on the Home Page.
