    Dan, as Dr. Bill has said it is reasonable to have a shorter LOP than the factory 14 1/4" +/- that was standard without being ordered. The easiest way is to remove the butt-plate and see if the original screw holes are there.
    Also the Hunter One-Trigger could be ordered in three different trigger positions, front, middle or rear, and as you can see this one is in the rear position. Add close to an inch if it was in the forward position.
    I would add a spacer piece to make the stock longer, and would definitely not have it re-stocked. Can't see it but does it have the long trigger guard?
    All of this items on this gun were available and had to be special ordered. A great find on a Field Grade.
