Interesting-why all but one a 16g? (of course 16s ARE special ) And only one post-1913, separated from the other '4' by 15 years. John Houchins lists 10 'Inspectors' starting on p. 40, and Will Brackett as 'Barrels Man', Dick Erhardt as 'Barrel Tester', and Harvey Sattlemuyer as 'Barrel Fitting Dept Head.' I agree, it's likely an inspector stamp, but why is it found on so few guns?
