I've never seen that many timberdoodles in one day's bag in all of my years of tromping about. Good shooting, fella! The Pennsylvania of my youth produced a few each season (in the early 70's) but that seemed to taper off sharply by the end of the decade. My memory of them as table fare is a bit spotty, how do you prepare them (or is the term "mudbats" aptly applied here?)
2004 huh? That was a tough year for Ruffies in Minnesota, too. Last your was unbelievable, however, and I'm getting favorable reports from my sources on the ground there this Spring.
